down, isolating, and correcting the problems with my Door King 1812;
his work certainly merits a few steaks at a minimum. Also, thanks
for the assistance on obtaining a new intercom...the power surges
have been devastating wiping out alarms, the 1812, and numerous

You have been so wonderful to deal with. I don't remember if I told
you this or not, but it bears repeating. Originally, I didn't know
who to call for buying the gate operators - so I got out the yellow
pages and when I saw that yours was an owner/operator "family"
business - that's whom I chose. My daughter, son-in-law and I combined
households last July, after the tragic death of my husband, Joe.
He owned and ran a small machine shop down on Spring Grove Avenue...and
there was no more finer or more fair and honest business man around.
As often as possible, he gave his business to the small business
owners - a habit we also developed for our home life. This has been
a traumatic and challenging time in our lives, and kind and friendly
and good people like yourselves ,make it more bearable. Thank you
so much, Connie and Don! I will sing your praise to everyone we
know!

I hope I have your name right.
Connie Borders asked me to email you about our experience with their
company. I picked them totally on the basis of them being an owner/operator
of a small company - as my husband and I owned a small business
and small business guys try to stick together. I found them by their
ad in the yellow pages. I called and spoke with both Don and Connie
and had a very good impression. I foolishly did no further investigating,
but fortunately, it worked out just fine - better than fine - they
did an excellent job for us.
They are a wonderful company to
do business with. The contract was completely clear about what they
would do for me EXACTLY and the exact price. It was also clear what
my job would be. When they said that would be here - they were.
They came prepared to do the job and a wonderfully fine job they
did. If you'd like to see the gates in action - drive on over to
--- ----, North Bend, Ohio, and I'll give you a "gate"
tour - ha! We have huge wrought iron gates and they open so smoothly
and easily.
We had a problem during the job,
of our own making. Our under-the-drive-way conduit (previously installed
by former owners of the house) was not really under the driveway,
as we had originally thought. It was clearly our responsibility.
In the end, we found we had to re-lay the conduit under the drive.
After we took care of this job, Connie and Don sent their employee
back to finalize the job. All of this at no additional charge to
us. We live quite some distance from their location - and they hadn't
figured the cost of two trips to our house in their original bid.
They could have easily tacked on additional cost for our mistake,
but they did not. We have been burned before - and dealing with
Connie and Don at Automatic Gates Plus was such a wonderful experience
in every aspect. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Good Luck

our new gates. You installers were helpful and conducted themselves
in the most professional manner. We are extremely pleased and satisfied
with their performance. Not having to stop, get out of the car,
open the gate, get back in the car, drive 5 feet, stop, get out
of the car, close the gate, then get back in the car is truly heavenly.
